Oct 18 2007, 7:37 PM EDT Guys...I am a walking ,talking, proof specimen for your tongue to the pole experiment. When I was 8, I lived in Iowa on a horse farm with plenty of big frosted gates. I stuck it on there one morning as I was waiting for the bus to pick me up. The bus came, stopped, honked the horn as I was pulling my stuck tongue off in hysterics. Needless to say I left alot of skin and had a scarred licker for 2 weeks. I just watched to cow tongue get stuck and saw how scared they were to lick the pole and brought me right back to that chilly morning 32 years ago. HAHA Funny stuff...not at the time. Fergie OUT 6 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 16 2008, 10:22 PM EDT What is this? Are You "Smarter than a 5TH Grader?" All kids that grew up in the north east know your tongue will stick to a flag pole when it's 15 degrees. We dared each other and of course there's always somebody that'll take you up on it! Jeez Tory! Just ask! Jul 17 2008, 3:36 AM EDT i think that myth was actually pretty dumb well first WHO THE HELL would want to stick there tongue on a frozen pole just to see what the result are (and which are stated both above because some people are dumb enough to do that goodwithwood and tina516) and why would tory want to try that anyway he's such a dumb guy he always wants to try everything no matter how dangerous lol i think he's just trying to get kari's attention! 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
