RE: cell phones
Feb 21 2008, 1:16 PM EST I spend a lot of time telephoning or playing portable video games while it was plugged and chargeing. i think it's busted, but it would be funny to see how strong do you have to broke your cell phone to be electrocuted... 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: cell phones
Feb 21 2008, 1:52 PM EST The difference between the power coming from the outlet in your house and the power coming from the output of the transformer that charges your cell phone is rather large. I cannot see that small amount of power causing an electrocution. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: cell phones
Feb 21 2008, 2:39 PM EST it could be plausable if the phone had a short like if you had just taken a shower and your hair was still wet, dripping onto the phone and the charging circuitry. only thing is that you would probably have to have the phone completely wet which would probably kill the phone and you wouldnt be talking on it anyway 5 out of 5 found this valuable. RE: cell phones
Mar 12 2008, 10:43 PM EDT I could be possible if the house was hit by lightning and the house wasn't grounded. I know of a house that was hit and wasn't grounded, the power overload went to the dishwasher and started a fire inside of it 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 13 2008, 12:01 AM EDT Good call. Your idea makes it definately plausible and I bet confirmed, but only with the 4.1 jigawatts from a lightning bolt :-) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
