Did the MythBusters get it right? How would you have busted this myth differently? Share your experiment design for how you would prove/disprove this myth:

  • This is the same function as "drafting a bus" for a cyclist:
    Size, Speed, & Proximity are the only things that matter.
    Speed & Proximity should matter more than Size.
    Claiming that a larger object is less able to draft one along is daft:
    claiming that a slower larger object is less able to draft one along makes sense.
    if the large-ship is mostly full of water, as it goes down ( breached hull ), it may well move fast
    if it is mostly full of air, as it goes down, it may well move slow.
