Myth Title: Pirate Eyepatches


Myth Description:
The build team tested to see if pirates' eyepatches could have also
served as nightvision aids.


MythBusters on the bust: Tori, Kari, Grant (Adam & Jamie were used as test subjects.)


Hypothesis: ----


Procedure/Experimental Design:
The build team designed a pirate-themed obstacle course and had Jamie and Adam run the course several times in the dark with only one eye that had either been covered with an eyepatch or uncovered before going into the course.


Results: Both Jamie and Adam did significantly better with the eye that had been covered by the eyepatch as opposed to the daylight adjusted eye.


Conclusion:
Pirate's Eye Patch MythPirate eyepatches could have possibly been used as night vision aids.

    why not learn instead to use peripheral vision more, for night vision?
