After the Conaway accident in 85 grant was forced to leave his homeland of Urkusk and move to America. Grant was left perminantly scared from the incident and had to build himself a new body. Unknown to the American people this Robot Mastermind was running loose on there soil. After a few yeas went by and it was declare that Grant was the reason behind the Watergate scandal and other unreported incidences the American government thought it would be easiest to keep tabs on him by putting him on national TV.
