the one thing i had a problem with in this myth is the fact that the myth busters used a all white sale ,in the time of the death ray it was very hard for the greeks to make all white cloth .
plus the greeks would more then likely used a much stronger and darker cloth for three resens
1.other clothes are much stronger, such as berlap
2.a dark sale would dry much faster after a storm
3.even if the sale were white most sales of the time had a dark woven crest telling there alegens .
on another note i myself have made a small scale varyable fockus mirror , and have set fire to a brelap cloth from 15 feet away .
also the crack that MR savage made "ahhh bright light run away " may have been closer to the truth then even he my have gest ,i know in most battles the attacking force would try to keep the bright rising sun light at there back and in there enemy eyes ,so they might have used mirrors to blind incoming ground troops
