Chainsaw Defense
Name of Myth: Defending against a Chainsaw
History/Background of the Myth: You are in a horror movie, would tactical 'knife/ballistic proof' gear protect you from a derranged chainsaw wielding nightmare and if so, what level of body armor would you need?
Hypothesis of the Test: Bodyarmor can protect against bullets and knives, so what would happen if a chainsaw attempted to do its work?
Ideal MythBuster(s) to Conduct the Test: Grant and Tory, it really doesn't matter who does it, but Grant loves building robotic rigs and we'll need one or the chainsaw wielder's insurance card if the chain breaks.
Best Method to Conduct the Test: Get various grades of body armor put them on a human analog and use a chainsaw wielding rig to attack in various methods, including thrusting and slashing. Level 5 dragon skin armor will be the ultimate test. (Also for the ultimate test the other way, build or aquire a chainsaw that can cut through the strongest of materials or find a better weapon for dealing with said armor if it's legal to show it off.)
My Prediction: Plausible
