Name of Myth: Cow Microwave Tower
History/Background of the Myth: Last year my wife met a woman who told her this story: She visited a friend who had moved to a remote rural area in Mexico at high altitude. Try as she might she could not get a signal on her cell phone until she turned it on while standing near the family cow, which had horns. There she got a signal she could use. When the cow walked away the signal dropped. She was able to carry on a conversation on her phone by following the cow around the pasture.
Hypothesis of the Test: That a cow with horns can somehow concentrate microwave signals and relay them.
