Myth Description:
---- Illegal immigrants are being fired across the US border by giant slingshots and landing on mattresses.


MythBusters on the bust: ---- Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman


Hypothesis: ---- Using a slingshot made of surgical rubber and two football goal posts, Adam and Jamie will fire simulated human projectile across a simulated border.

---- In addition to being unable to achieve the distance and accuracy reported, the device could not be constructed in such a way as to allow the quick assembly and disassembly required for the myth. In addition, the person being thrown would likely be killed on impact.
